One of the happy coincidences of family holidays can be the water confidence gained by the little people, simply as a result of spending so much more time in the water!
There are lots of lovely products now available to help tots learn to swim but Claire, one of our crack team of lettings expert mums, has this review of her new fave...
"As he raced across the pool with a huge smile on his face, I was over the moon with the new floatation aid that my son Charlie's swimming teacher introduced at last weekend's lesson - the Swimfin.
Fastened to his back with secure velcro straps, the fin allowed him to feel as though he was swimming completely independently; his arms were free to produce the best 'big digger' strokes I've seen yet and he was in his element chasing me, without a cumbersome woggle beneath him or armbands interfering with his stroke.
I'll definitely be investing in a couple of these for Charlie (aged 5 this week) and Emily (aged 3.5, going on 13) before we head off to France this Summer - at around £21 each and coming in lots of colours, I think they're a fantastic buy!"
Check out the full range on the Swimfin website.

These are a great idea and really fun i can see that kids will love using them. My son is just starting out in the pool he has the usual child swimming aids, the armbands, the rubber ring, which works for now but i think in the future the swimfin will be a fantastic option to further his technique.
