With the long Summer holiday weeks behind us, many mums are feeling a little frazzled this month and frankly, ready for another holiday!?
But can it ever really be a holiday for Mum? With all the organising, getting everyone packed and then all the same demands on time whilst you're there, the family holiday can sometimes leave mums (or dads for that matter) feeling more tired than when they left!
Our friend Nicky Grant set up her business www.holidaynanny.co.uk when she found herself wishing she could find someone to come along on a 3 week break with her family so she could genuinely relax. The business has - not surprisingly - gone from strength to strength!
In the podcast below, Nicky shares with us her advice for making your family holiday as chilled out and restorative as possible.

I have to say this is something I was thinking about recently after our holiday, people asking me if I had a nice relaxing holiday and there's me with a 1 and 2 year old, anything but relaxed! A holiday nanny would be wonderful, but it's luxury for us at the moment.

I know what you mean Holly! If your own Nanny would bust the budget, we have plenty of places offering babysitting or daytime childcare too - why not take a look when you're ready to book youre next break?

A mother has no holidays but I tell you what... I feel more relax when I am with my kids. No matter how hard it is to look after them and to provide their needs i love it that way. If they are away, in school or with friend I am always bordered and uneasy.
